Family Mass is a wonderful way for us to worship together! Although we may all attend different Masses on most Sundays, Family Mass gives us the opportunity to pray and worship together.
This year, each grade will be in charge of a Family Mass by participating as lectors, ushers, etc., and that grade will also host a bake sale to benefit the school after the 9AM Mass. All members of the designated grade will bring one or two dozen baked goods/donuts to sell, and the students themselves will run the bake sale (with some parent supervision). What a great way to work together to help the school, AND show our spirit in the parish!
Our first Family Mass will be this Sunday, September 18th, and the 8th grade will be the first to participate in the helping with the Mass, and the bake sale, but ALL SCHOOL FAMILIES SHOULD ATTEND MASS! It is a more joyful and special celebration when we are all together.
This Sunday, our teachers/staff will be receiving a special blessing as we begin our year. Please be sure to be there with your family!
