Out of an abundance of caution and in order to help mitigate the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in public settings, Saint Ignatius of Loyola Parish School has canceled all of our public activities and closed our campus. Our learning experiences have moved to a remote learning model. Our teachers are delivering high quality lessons to our students through virtual classrooms. Thanks to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’s C3 Ignite Program and the Ahmanson Foundation, our families who needed devices or access to the internet at home have been equipped with school iPads that connect to the internet via Sprint’s cellular network as well as Chromebooks.
While our offices are mostly closed, we are able to answer emails and voice messages and are doing our best to continue to serve the needs of our community during this unprecedented global pandemic.
If you are hoping to learn more about our school or interested in applying, please reach out to us at admin@stignatiusla.org or leave us a message at 323.255.6456 and we will get back to you. While we are not able to offer tours at this time, we do invite you to see some of what makes St. Ignatius so special by visiting us on Facebook and Instagram.
The Dominican pillars of Study, Prayer, Service, Community and Truth have always been at the core of who we are, and those priorities are what make us so special, just in a different way at the moment.
Our prayers are with all who are affected by this crisis, especially those who are ill, those who are serving the sick, those who are keeping us safe and fed, and those who are facing financial distress. We plan to be back on campus, better than ever, as soon as is safe. In the meantime if there is anything we can do to serve you or your family please reach out.
